Christopher Willits, electronic musician/guitarist god, has a very helpful set of videos.
The first video is really basis, but he really goes in depth in later videos. Very easy to understand, but yet also very informative.
Check out the videos here:

I’m an electronic musician and law student. I’m using this site as a way to catalog all the various resources in which I come across.
I plan to blog about:
1. electronic music creation resources
-Ableton live tips/tricks, alternative midi controllers, synths/VSTs,
2. indie band resources
-html for beginners (like me), great web pages, books, blogs, etc
3. music law
-I’m writing a law review note on mash-ups and fair use in copyright law
I hope that other people can learn from my wonderings and find it useful.
