Mark Mosher has a great website called Modulate This. He’s an avid Ableton Live user and has a ton of really good resources on his page. He’s also got a bunch of great links, too. Highly recommend his website.

If you are into sound design Nick’s Tutorials is a wonderful resource site. He is really easy to understand and He charges for some videos, but offers a bunch for free. Many of his videos focus on manipulating found sounds to create unique drum beats, etc.

Also, check out Electronic Music 411- excellent page with all kinds of electronic music making resources.

My favorite blog is Create Digital Music. It covers all types of electronic music production issues, but much of the blog is focused on using controllers creatively, Ableton Live and handmade electronic music.

Sonic Academy has some highly recommended videos. It has full coursework on Ableton Live music production- but they aren’t free. They do have some free samples videos, click here. I’ve liked what I’ve seen. What I like about Sonic Academy is that it has “How to Sound Like French House, Trance, etc [insert style here].” And while you may think your music is totally unique- don’t kid yourself- you have to learn from others in order to create your own sound.

What You Talkin’ Bout Willits?
I’ve already mentioned this before, but Christopher Willit’s has a great series called- What You Talkin’ Bout Willits? done with soundarts and xlr8r. He’s easy to understand, and moves a nice, easy to follow pace. He’s an Ableton wiz and a half.

Christopher Willits, electronic musician/guitarist god, has a very helpful set of videos.

The first video is really basis, but he really goes in depth in later videos. Very easy to understand, but yet also very informative.
